ACCOUNTANT
ND & Associates
Responsible for direct reports to Finance Manager, working in close collaboration, he is also is deputy and back up, this role offers progression for the right trained & motivated individual.
Activities and Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient and accurate processing of suppliers’ invoices, employees’ expenses claims and intercompany payments.
- Stock management and control. Administrative controls.
- Reconcile accounts and check the accuracy of journal entries to ensure that the general ledger is accurate and complete.
- Establish and maintain proper accounting control by ensuring that procedures and systems are designed and maintained with appropriate control points. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Ensure that fixed assets are classified correctly and purchased in accordance to corporate policy.
- Ensure management of business transaction and reporting control and accurate financial statements.
- Check and analyze financial information and prepare more complex financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. Financial reports may include profit and loss statements, balance sheets, depreciation statements, cash flow, debtor and creditor lists, repayment schedules, regulatory reports and filings.
- Develop and maintain financial data bases. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures. Prepare and support internal/external audits.

Skills:
• Minimum 4-5 years experience as an Accountant General in international company
• Holding the finance qualifications equal to CPA, ideally ACCA (even if currently in process)
• Experience with a computerized accounting system is required (Quick Book…)
• Highly competent in MS Excel is essential
• Access skills would be a great advantage
• Excellent command in English
• French and/or Arabic speaker is a plus
• Well organized, attentive to details and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills, information and task monitoring, problem analysis, stress tolerance
• Pleasant personality, open minded, positive work attitude, ready to join an enthusiastic team
