Business Controller supports CFO/Subsidiary Controller and GM/Marketing & Operations lead in running and orchestrating the financial and business rhythm. He/she is responsible for business performance management, revenue forecasting & analysis, business insight across Business Groups and products and marketing and business investments. He/she drives the Growth Productivity Framework and revenue analysis. Candidate should be comfortable working in US Multinational Company matrix organization structure.


Experience: Desired experience 10+ years of demonstrated work experience in Finance. Education: Chartered Accountant, with strong academic achievements/MBA Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to thrive in complex environments and work through cross group collaboration. Ability to step up and handle special projects/ provide leadership in specific areas as and when required. Advanced PC skills in spreadsheet and relational database applications required. Willingness to travel, as required.


Core Responsibilities:

Business Insight - 50%
Provide strategic thinking and business insight to maximize growth opportunity by product. Provide concrete actions and recommendations to improve performance and execution. Trusted advisor to GM and his directs (Business Segment Directors) and build very strong business partnerships across the Marketing & Operations and Marketing leadership team in Egypt and MEA. Be a recognized leader and sought after for advice and recommendations. Influence key decisions to deliver business results. Co-drive competitive analysis, market studies, portfolio rationalization and new business models evaluation. Provide financial discipline and rigor to those activities, in partnership with Segment Leads. Co-drive Subsidiary scorecard. Drive marketing resource optimization and investment initiatives based on benchmarking, in-depth analysis and business modeling scenario. Help Marketing & Operations to drive the culture of Return On Investment on marketing and business investments Drive profitability & productivity analysis of go-to-markets and other marketing or sales initiatives. Ensure effective communication and common understanding across the leadership team of the business performance, market situation, share and competition.

Business Excellence - 50%
Drive an effective rhythm of the business (ROB) and business performance reviews. Excel in revenue forecast accuracy through a very solid forecasting model and process. Drive a predictable and effective planning rhythm, from the Mid-Year Business Review to Annual Financial Budget. Excellent orchestrator of many stakeholders & deliverables. Superb communicator within and outside of finance. Consistently execute against key financial processes on time and with great quality and accuracy. Improve business productivity and operations.
